Over 1 year ago we ordered a custom made collar from Lisa at Collar Mania specifying the material, width, length, buckle and attachments. We selected an awesome Chicago Bears print in a 2 inch width. The 2 inch width was selected because we felt it would spread the force around when Rukus pulled on his leash without negatively impacting his throat. Collar Mania lets you chose from their vast patterns and options. It came out even better than expected and was made specifically to adjust as our then 6 month old puppy grew to full size. We couldn’t have been happier and have followed Collar Mania on their Facebook Page which consistently displays their newest collar materials.
Check out the pictures below where Rukus shows off his collar. We do generally use a harness with Rukus for longer walks or trips to the park but the quick release buckle makes this collar extremely useful for quick walks or when Rukus is wearing clothing that makes a harness impractical.
